Dean Shaw

Dean started his musical career with his Cousin, Mark, who had been playing in bands for a number of years as a bass player and singer. Dean had grown up with music all around and knew that playing in a band was his destiny! So his journey began and after a couple of trials and errors the band was formed after meeting the original members of Nothing Beyond.

Jump forward a few years and Dean is the lead singer in a number of bands, including The Boss, Springsteen Tribute Band, a nationwide touring band that plays theatres all over the country.

Ben Brunskill

Ben is a multi - instrumentalist, can play Piano, Keys, Slide Guitar, Mandolin, sings a bit and isnt afraid of being a bit of a show pony when the time is right! Ben has played in The Springsteen band along with Dean for the last 5 years and has played in various other bands across the North Island.

Alex Conway

Alex is Nothing Beyond's bass player. A bassist of twenty years, he's been with the band since the very first gig. From humble beginnings jamming with friends in garages to playing countless weddings and events, he knows what it takes to make your event extra special.
You won't catch him ripping sweet guitar solos or bellowing out tunes, but he'll be providing the rhythm that gets you dancing!

Fraser McKenzie

Fraser grew up playing drums in the Scottish Pipe Bands, he and his family have a rich history in music. Fraser is a local drum teacher and a bloody good bloke. Fraser has a unique style and a vast knowledge of songs for any style of music.
